Make Waves Marketing manages Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for Foret Group, a commercial construction, commercial landscaping, facility maintenance, and waste management company headquartered in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Since June 2024, Foret Group's LinkedIn following has grown 67% and its Facebook page 17%, with hiring posts and named project spotlights producing the highest reach. Make Waves Marketing also designed and built the company's website, which launched in March 2026. All results on this page are organic.
A multi-division contractor has two audiences on social media that want different things. Property owners and public agencies want proof of completed work. Job seekers want to know who is hiring and what the crew culture is like. Foret Group needed a content program that kept a consistent two-post-per-week cadence across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram without pulling field staff away from jobs, turned completed and in-progress projects into public proof for future bids, filled open positions for foremen, operators, drivers, mechanics, and office staff in a tight South Louisiana labor market, and presented four divisions as one brand.
Foret Group is a family of companies based in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Divisions include commercial construction and civil site work through Foret Contracting Group, commercial landscaping design and grounds maintenance, facility operations and maintenance, and dumpster rental through Geaux Waste.
Projects featured on social media during the reporting period include the Lafourche Parish School Board Bus Fleet Facility, a ground-up transportation and maintenance hub; Bayou Country Sports Park, a build for Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government; Houma Fire Department Airbase Station site work and paving; the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office Work Release temporary housing facility in Raceland; Second Harvest Food Bank and St. Elizabeth of Hungary Community Kitchen; the Cardiovascular Institute of the South 26,000-square-foot expansion, completed in 2020; St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, in progress; and a Make-A-Wish bedroom build with DDG, The Cabinet Shoppe, Extreme Painting, and Sherwin-Williams.
Messaging follows the StoryBrand framework. The property owner or agency is the hero with a problem, Foret Group is the guide with a plan, and the call to action is a phone call or an application.

For a B2B contractor with 455 LinkedIn followers, roughly 1,100 interactions on 8,300 impressions is an engagement rate above 13%. That is the number a commercial construction company should care about more than follower count.
Make Waves Marketing reviewed all 43 Facebook posts from March 1 to September 1, 2026. Four post types carried the account.
Why it works: five of the top seven posts by reach were job openings. People tag friends who need work, and every share puts the Foret name in front of a household that does not follow the page. For a contractor, recruiting posts are the cheapest brand awareness available.
Why it works: naming the client, the parish, and the dollar value gives the post a reason to exist beyond "look at our work." Public projects also get shared by the agencies themselves. On LinkedIn, the Bus Fleet Facility post produced 141 interactions in one day, the highest of the period.
