What working here looks like
Make Waves Marketing is an in-house team based on West Second Street in Thibodaux, Louisiana, with a second base in Jacksonville, Florida. Designers, developers, videographers, and social managers sit on the same accounts, so the person who shoots a job is usually the person who edits it and the person who builds a site is the one who maintains it afterward. We do not subcontract client work overseas.
Client work runs across web design, video production, social media management, and search and AI visibility, mostly for construction, oilfield and marine, industrial, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. A typical week includes a shoot day somewhere between Morgan City and New Orleans, build and edit time in the office, and client reviews.
We hire for craft and ownership. People here are expected to carry a project from the first brief to the final delivery, talk to clients directly, and say when something is off. Roles open up as accounts grow, and we keep resumes on file when there is no posting that matches.
