Four Horsemen Tackle makes popping corks, Boom Boom Shrimp soft plastics, weedless spoons, and jig heads for inshore anglers chasing speckled trout and redfish along the Gulf Coast. The products are made in Louisiana and sold direct at 4horsementackle.com and through tackle shops. In late February 2026 the company hired Make Waves Marketing to run its Facebook and Instagram. This is what the first six months looked like, using data from Metricool.

For a consumer product brand with an online store, that reach is the funnel. Every post carries the website or a product name.
Early in the engagement, product posts leaned on adjectives. By April the copy shifted to specifics that anglers repeat to each other: 130-pound SPRO swivel, uncrimped titanium wire, death-grip jig head, 24 to 36 inches under the cork. Reach on product posts roughly doubled after the shift.
The custom cork program was not part of the original content plan. After the April 8 post reached 64,673, it became a recurring feature and now produces business inquiries by email.
Review request posts reach a fraction of what catch photos reach. They stay in the calendar once a month as a low-cost ask, not because they perform on Facebook.
Four Horsemen Tackle is a Louisiana fishing tackle company. Its core products are the 3-inch Popping Cork (including Bombshell Pro Series, Armored, and Oval Armor versions), Boom Boom Shrimp and Baby Boom Boom Shrimp soft plastics in colors like Sea Biscuit, Ice, Glow, Old Faithful, Trout Snack, and Brown Shrimp, Double Metal Guard Weedless Spoons in gold, smoke, and scale-pattern gold, and the Pop Pop Boom ready-to-fish combo with a 20-pound Seaguar fluorocarbon leader. The company also produces custom-branded corks for businesses and exhibits at the Louisiana Outdoor Expo. Tagline: "The best-sounding, most durable popping cork on the water."
Two posts a week on Facebook, mirrored to Instagram. Photo intake comes from customers, captains, and the shop. Every product post names the product, the color, and the fish. New launches get an announcement post and a follow-up with real catches within a week. Reporting goes out monthly with reach, engagement, follower change, and top posts. Copy follows the StoryBrand structure: the angler is the hero, the cork is the guide, the website is the next step.
