Arrow Equipment & Repair grew Facebook 19% in nine months after Make Waves Marketing launched a Meet the Team series that produced its top six posts.

Make Waves Marketing manages Facebook and LinkedIn for Arrow Equipment & Repair, a Houma, Louisiana industrial repair shop founded in 1987 that services hydraulic, pneumatic, compressor, calibration, and mechanical equipment for Gulf Coast oilfield, marine, and industrial operators. In the first nine months of the engagement, December 2025 to September 2026, the Facebook page grew from 483 to 576 followers, a gain of 19.3%, and a weekly Meet the Team Monday series produced the six highest-reach posts of the period, including a co-owner spotlight that reached 7,583 people. All results are organic.
An industrial repair shop's customers are maintenance managers who already have a vendor. Arrow needed social media to introduce the people behind a 38-year-old shop that had just changed generations, explain the full service list since many customers knew Arrow for one repair type only, recruit mechanics and technicians in the Houma market, and establish a LinkedIn presence for oilfield and marine buyers.
Arrow Equipment & Repair has served Gulf Coast industry from Houma, Louisiana since 1987. The shop rebuilds hydraulic cylinders with a three-to-five-day turnaround, repairs pneumatic systems, sells, installs, and services ELGi rotary screw air compressors as an authorized distributor, performs pressure testing and calibration with compliance documentation, handles mechanical and heavy equipment repair including dozer undercarriage replacement, and machines parts in-house on a Kingston vertical mill and metal lathe. Ownership passed from father to daughter in 2021, when Shelley Gros became co-owner alongside Chad Chatagnier.
Make Waves Marketing reviewed all 43 Facebook posts from March 1 to September 1, 2026. One series dominated, with two supporting post types.
Eight spotlights averaged 2,900 reach on a page with under 600 followers. Each post names the person, role, tenure, favorite part of the job, and something from outside work. Employees share their own posts, and customers who know them comment. The co-owner posts told the ownership-transition story without a press release.
The hydraulic warning signs post earned 12 shares from maintenance managers passing it to crews. Capability posts with a number, 38 years, five services, a 3-to-5-day turnaround, beat the ones with a slogan.
Reach on these stays modest, but they carry the equipment names, ELGi, Enerpac, CAT D6N, Kingston mill, that buyers search and show the work to prospects checking the page.
Facebook followers grew from 483 to 576 in the first nine months (December 2025 to September 2026), a gain of 19.3%, and from 517 to 576 in the last six months. Meet the Team Monday runs every other week, with a standing five-question intake collected from the office manager. Two posts run per week on Facebook, with capability, hiring, and leadership posts mirrored to the new LinkedIn page. Job photo intake comes from the shop floor with equipment make and model recorded for the caption. Hiring posts are written as full job listings with hours, benefits, and a direct contact, and monthly reporting covers reach, engagement, follower change, and top posts.
